August 21, 2015 (The Bieh Telegraph)—The death of Peter Julius Moi in Juba is a signal to any individual beings that the Country and its citizens are under life threatening condition.

Journalists and Activists have been killed with no proper investigation carried out by the Government. This alone encourages the enemies of peace to purposely kill journalists.

To kill journalists has no different from hurting or blinding your own eyes. Journalists are the voice of voiceless. We cannot kill or even threat them. If we kill them, it will be more than a disaster for citizens to recover from lost.

I strongly condemned the death of journalist in Juba and I strongly urge the Government of South Sudan to thoroughly investigate the case so that the killers are brought to Court. Government is an entity who must strategically plan for the betterment of her citizens at every second.

More journalists have been killed and there had been no single tangible report produced related to who killed them. This time South Sudan is more than three years old, it has full capacity to investigate the death of an individual and curb crimes.

Both Polices and other security departments can easily reveal the killer if they are serous to know who killed Peter Julius…
Where is South Sudan heading please? We want peace.

Peace means that there must be no gun pointing at any citizens at any time. There must be no targeting killing because of person’s profession. Citizens must stay hopefully and fearlessly. They must stay free. This is how we can kick out the insecurity out of our Country.

Last but not least, I appreciate all Media houses, The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) and the Union of Journalists in South Sudan for continuing to work for change although the guns have been pointed on them every day.

Finally, I extend my condolence message to the family, relatives, colleagues and friends of deceased.

In Media we believe!

South Sudan President Salva Kiir and rebel leader Riek Machar shake hands.
August 21, 2015 (The Bieh Telegraph)—We call upon the entire membership of the people’s movement and the whole population of South Sudan to support this initiative; however, we warn anti-peace elements to halt their belligerent rhetoric and place the interest of the people of South Sudan ahead of their egocentric ambitions.
The people of South Sudan should by now know who have their best interest at heart and who is there for self-seeking and tribal building agenda after the historic August 17, 2015 IGAD-PLUS COMPROMISE PEACE AGREEMENT signing deadline for South Sudan.
The Chairman and the C-in-C of the SPLM/SPLA-IO, Dr. Riek Machar Teny courageously signed the document after extensive diplomatic negotiations to rescue our people and the country from the current Kiir’s imposed civil war that has bedeviled our nation for the last 20 months.
We also commended the esteemed people of South Sudan who have been subjected to inhumane and callous carnages by the Juba regime for their resiliency and perseverance for enduring such cruelties.
We appeal to all peace loving members of the SPLM/SPLA-IO in politics and military to stand united with the leadership to see this process through.
The world and the anti-peace elements must know that the people’s Movement (SPLM/SPLA-IO) stands strong and united in both military and diplomatic cores while enjoying an enormous support from South Sudanese both at home and abroad and utterly dismiss any contrary insinuations.
We call upon the international community to use its leverages to pressure the regime in Juba to care about the suffering of our/its people and sign the IGAD-PLUS COMPROMISE PEACE PROPOSAL.

Mr. David Luoy Top
Acting Representative
to the Federal Republic of Brazil.
